Assembly Operative

at our location London | fulltime | permanent position

Your Role:

We are looking for an Assembly Operative to join our tambour door production team.
Responsibilities include:
▪Working on the assembly line and producing our products based on specific measurements, calculations, drawings or instructions under the supervision of a Level 2 Assembly Operative or Supervisor;
▪Packing boxes, loading and unloading materials and finished goods and adhering to safety protocols;
▪Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects;
▪Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line to Supervisor/Production & Site Manager;
▪Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.

Your Profile:

  • ▪Previous experience in this type of role;
    ▪Able to work individually and as part of a team;
    ▪You will be attentive to detail:
    ▪Takes pride in your work;
    ▪The ability to understand and receive instructions;
    ▪Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
    ▪The ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment (within safety guidelines);
    ▪Ability to work on one’s own initiative;
    ▪Good knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations;
    ▪A forklift licence would be an advantage, but not essential;
    ▪A solid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures would be an advantage, but not essential;
    ▪An ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics would be an advantage, but not essential.
