Shift Team Leader

at our location Blaenau | as soon as possible | fulltime | permanent position

Your Tasks:

  • Be actively involved in maintaining high quality standards
  • To lead by example and demonstrate effective & positive leadership skills by pro-actively being involved in the daily running of the department
  • Provide a hands-on approach with production & technical issues, rectifying production failures.
  • Enforce safety procedures and PPE compliance.
  • Support and Carry out Risk Assessments within the department.
  • Develop & train personnel
  • Be actively involved in Company improvement and HSE initiatives
  • The primary out of hours contact in case of emergencies and unplanned situations
  • To organise and implement LEAN initiatives within the department
  • Effective co-ordination of production personnel at shift level
  • Candidate to achieve the KPI for the department
  • Be actively involved in the GEMBA process and support to improve online standards

Your Profile:

  • Candidate must have a high level of technical ability
  • Candidate must have passed suitable training for a leadership role with proven track record of ability to run a Shift
  • You will be process driven with a high focus on quality and teamwork.
